Manavsewa Ashram's service routine: Khaja Sewa
Manavsewa Ashram's Khaja Sewa (Tea & Snack Service) is a vital, compassionate outreach program providing nutritious food to street-dwelling, mentally ill, and helpless people in Ashram. Operating through various branches, this initiative serves as a daily lifeline, reducing hunger-related suffering and bringing dignity to forgotten individuals in urban centers

Impact and Essence of Khaja Sewa:

  • Targeted Outreach: The Ashram specifically targets those whom society has abandoned - those sleeping on the streets, marginalized, or struggling with severe mental illness.
  • Daily Dignity: For many, the daily "khaja sewa" is the difference between surviving another day, night or succumbing to weakness.
  • A Stepping Stone: Frequently, this act of kindness serves as the first step in building trust, leading to the person being rescued and taken into the Ashram for long-term care, medical treatment, and family reunification.
  • Community Partnership: The service thrives on the support of local communities, volunteers, and donors who believe in a "street-people-free" Nepal.

Through the Khaja Sewa, Manavsewa Ashram ensures that even those forgotten by the world are not forgotten by humanity.
