Collaboration Between Manavsewa Ashram and Health Institutions to Expand Access to Health Services
Kathmandu — A meeting was held among representatives to make health screening and treatment services for street-dependent people seeking help at the Manavsewa Ashram more effective, organized by the Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
The meeting held on Tuesday was attended by Kathmandu Metropolitan City Chief Administrative Officer Mukti Ram Aryal, Manavsewa Ashram Chairman Ramji Adhikari, and officials at the Kshetrapati Free Hospital and Community Health Council (Dallu Community Hospital).
The meeting agreed to provide free medical treatments to dependent mothers (aamas) and fathers (buwas) at the Manavsewa Ashram through the Kshetrapati Free Hospital and Community Health Council (Dallu Community Hospital). Manavsewa Ashram stated that a formal agreement will be signed between the concerned parties to systematically implement their services.
The collaboration is anticipated to speed up screening and treatment sewa for residents in the ashram, as well as provide better healthcare.
