In collaboration with the Ani Choying Drolma Foundation, Manavsewa Ashram rescues 6 vulnerable people from Kapilvastu and Dang, drawing praise and support from provincial leadership.

DANG – Six vulnerable individuals were rescued from various locations in the Kapilvastu and Dang districts on Thursday, marking the tenth day of the Mechi-Mahakali National Rescue Journey. This nationwide humanitarian initiative aims to rescue and rehabilitate people living in desperate conditions on the streets.

According to the Manavsewa Ashram, a total of 117 street-dependent individuals in need of urgent care have been rescued across various districts since the start of the mission. Driven by a humanitarian spirit to ensure no one is left stranded on the roadside during the rainy season, the campaign is actively expanding its reach throughout the country.

During Thursday's rescue operations, the organizers held a coordination meeting with Lumbini Province Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya. At the event, Sushila KC, General Secretary of Manavsewa Ashram, outlined the mission's core objectives, milestones achieved so far, and future roadmap.
