Mechi-Mahakali Rescue Journey: 6 Saved in Pokhara Ahead of Monsoon

Mechi-Mahakali National Rescue Journey aims to leave no one on the streets during this rainy season.

POKHARA Six people were rescued on Saturday the 19th day of the Mechi-Mahakali National Rescue Yatra. The nationwide humanitarian campaign is being conducted with the overarching goal of ensuring that absolutely no vulnerable person must live on the roads during the upcoming rainy season.

Latest Rescue Operations and Heartwarming Saves

The dedicated rescue team saved three individuals from Muglin, one from Dhadingbesi, and a child from Gajuri. Among the rescued were 35-year-old Goma Pariyar, 39-year-old Hari Pariyar, and their 7-year-old youngest son. They were found living in a highly dangerous condition along the roadside in the Gajuri region and were immediately taken under the team's protection.
