Manavsewa Ashram Emergency Appeal: Support Rasuwa Flood Relief
The Rasuwa flash flood has brought a level of heartbreak that words can't quite capture. Families have lost their homes, lives have been cut short, and so many are completely cut off from help. The loss of wildlife habitats, including countless animals, birds, and flora in the region, is inconsolable.
The Manavsewa Ashram family believes that no one should have to walk through this tragedy alone. We are on-site distributing immediate relief and running a community kitchen with Ani Choying Drolma Foundation and partners to provide fresh, free cooked meals (‘sewa’) daily for displaced families in our nearby branches, and offering long-term shelter and rehabilitation for those left helpless or separated from their loved ones.
Our steadfast prayers and support are with the resilient people of Rasuwa during this crucial hour, but rebuilding will take all of us. We promise to stand by your side through the tough months ahead. Please, join hands with us. Let us bring relief and dignity back to these communities together.
