Manavsewa Ashram’s New 24/7 Call Center: for Homeless Rescue

No one should have to call the street their home

Help is just a call away! 📞 Manavsewa Ashram (MSA), in partnership with Kathmandu Metropolitan City, has launched Nepal’s first 24/7 dedicated homeless rescue call center (01-5979882) to support the homeless, vulnerable, and those in urgent need of care.

With over 10,000 lives transformed nationwide, MSA’s mission is clear: building a street-dependent-free Nepal.

A Lifeline for Nepal’s Most Vulnerable

In a quiet Kathmandu office, a phone rings. It isn’t a routine call—it’s a lifeline. A concerned citizen reports someone shivering in the rain. Within minutes, the Manavsewa Ashram Quick Response Team dispatches help, turning a plea for assistance into a second chance at life.

MSA’s digital-age call centers are bridging the gap between the public and those suffering mental health challenges or extreme poverty on the streets.

Our Vision: A Street-People-Free Nepal by 2082 B.S.

"Our goal is to ensure no one lives miserably under the open sky," Currently operating 27 centers across 21 districtsthe Manavsewa Ashram provides immediate urgent treatment and long-term dignity.

Beyond the Rescue: Healing and Reunion

Once a person enters MSA care, they receive:

  • Emergency Medical Care & Nutrition

  • Psychological Support & Counseling

  • Family Reunion Services – reconnecting “lost” individuals with loved ones

How You Can Help

You can actively participate in this mission. By saving the helpline number, you become part of Nepal’s social safety net:

  • Report: Call 📞 01-5979882 if you see someone in distress

  • Support: Contribute to MSA’s Bhojan Sewa, donations, and medical aid

  • Share: Spread the word to make Nepal’s streets safer for everyone

Manavsewa Ashram: Serving the humanity that society forgot.

In a world often indifferent, MSA’s call center demonstrates that with technology and empathy, a compassionate society is possible.
