Butwal - Five men enduring extreme neglect and desolation on the streets were successfully rescued from various locations in the Rupandehi district on Wednesday.

The operation is part of the ongoing Mechi-Mahakali Rescue Journey, a nationwide humanitarian campaign dedicated to clearing the streets of homelessness and vulnerability.

Dedicated Street Search Operations

On Wednesday morning, rescue teams deployed across major market areas, roadsides, and public spaces throughout the Rupandehi and Kapilvastu districts. Teams actively searched for individuals facing severe hunger, insecurity, and systemic neglect.

The five rescued individuals, who had been surviving on the streets for an extended period, were safely transferred to the Manavsewa Ashram branch in Butwal, Rupandehi, where they will receive immediate care, protection, and rehabilitation.
