On Thursday, four homeless individuals in need of assistance were rescued

Three individuals were reunited with their families.

Kthmandu - On Wednesday, four homeless individuals in need of assistance were rescued from various service centers of the Manavsewa Ashram. Similarly, three dependent individuals were reunited happily with their families. On this day, services equivalent to NPR 858,309 were utilized from the Ashram's service centers.

For the care of individuals seeking refuge at the Ashram, donations amounting to NPR 307,141 were received from various donors. On this day, under the food service program, philanthropic individuals contributed 16 meal services (breakfast and dinner) and 4 snack services to different service centers. Additionally, the Ashram reported receiving in-kind contributions worth NPR 83,372 from various donors.

Manavsewa Ashram is dedicated to the rescue, treatment, care, protection, and family reunification of helpless, destitute, disabled, orphaned, and physically and mentally weak individuals who are compelled to live a miserable life on the streets and public places under the open sky. The Ashram formally began its services on Bhadra 13, 2069 BS (August 2012 AD), with its main office in Makwanpur, Hetauda.

The Ashram has announced its goal of making Nepal a nation free of helpless street-dependent individuals who cannot take care of themselves or have no one to care for them (destitute, orphaned, severely disabled, or mentally and physically incapacitated) by the year 2082 BS (2025 AD). To implement this effectively, the Ashram is currently operating through 26 service centers in 20 districts across seven provinces. It also conducts rescue and humane management of helpless homeless individuals in all 77 districts of Nepal, as well as internationally in the UK, Qatar, and Australia.
