Budhanilkantha Municipality Supports Manavsewa Ashram with NPR 800,000 in Food Aid

Strengthening Community Care: Budhanilkantha Supports Manavsewa Ashram with Significant Food Donation

KATHMANDU — Demonstrating a strong commitment to social responsibility, Budhanilkantha Municipality has handed over essential food items worth approximately NPR 800,000 to the Manavsewa Ashram to support its humanitarian efforts. The handover took place on Tuesday at the Ashram premises, continuing the municipality's, sustained, multi-year support for the organization.

As part of its ongoing dedication to supporting vulnerable populations, the municipality allocated this budget for the current fiscal year to supply necessities for the residents of the Ashram, according to Humnath Poudel, a central member of the Ashram.

Representatives from the municipality praised the Ashram’s invaluable work in rescuing, protecting, and rehabilitating helpless, homeless, and mentally ill individuals from the streets. Highlighting this as an inspiration, the local government vowed to continue its support and urged other organizations and individuals to assist in such noble, charitable endeavors.

Manavsewa Ashram, which operates 29 branches across Nepal, works to rescue, treat, and reunite street-dependent people with their families, supported by government bodies and generous donors.
