Massive Support for Manavsewa Ashram: Rs 819K Raised as 14th Pokhara Mahayagya Begins

Pokhara Mahayagya 2026: Over Rs 8 Lakhs Raised on Day 1 for Manavsewa Ashram

POKHARA – The 14th Shrimad Bhagwat Sapta Gyan-Vigyan Mahayagya kicked off on Saturday at the Manavsewa Ashram premises in Hemja, Pokhara-25, drawing a large number of devotees and generous donations on its inaugural day. 

The week-long spiritual event was jointly inaugurated by Pokhara Metropolitan City Mayor Dhanraj Acharya and Swami Atmananda Giriji Maharaj of Galeshwor Dham. The Mahayagya is aimed at funding the completion of the Ashram's building, constructing the Lakshminarayan Temple and Muktinath Dharamshala, and strengthening the Akshaya Kosh (endowment fund).
 
Strong Financial Opening
On the first day, the event secured a total of Rs 819,088 in donations. A significant portion of this came from a local couple, Bhimraj Regmi and Laxmi Regmi from Bindhyabasini, Pokhara-2, who donated Rs 700,000 specifically for the construction of the Muktinath Dharamshala.
