The Ani Choying Drolma Foundation and Manavsewa Ashram’s Program: 'Prayers for Peace', is a tribute to the victims of the Bhotekoshi and Budi Gandaki Floods

Kathmandu - The 'Prayers for Peace' program was organized at the Open Mancha by the Ani Choying Drolma Foundation and Manavsewa Ashram on October 14, 2026, 49 days after the flood. The program paid tribute and requested everyone to pray for eternal peace and attend the mass prayer and lamp-lighting ceremony in memory of those who died in the devastating Bhotekoshi and Budi Gandaki flash floods.

The Ani Choying Drolma Foundation and Manavsewa Ashram distributed free meals, emergency shelter, health care, and health care, and arranged counselling for affected flood victims for 19 days.

Ani Choying Drolma Foundation and Manavsewa Ashram have collaborated with Bhotekhoshi and Budi Gandaki flood victims by distributing relief supplies and aid to flood-affected communities. Extending a hand to people in need and crisis, the Foundation has been providing humanitarian service by wiping away the tears, applying salve to their wounds, and lighting lamps for hope and peace.
