Manavsewa Ashram to Organize Shrimad Bhagwat Mahayagya in Dhangadhi from Magh 23 to 30

Kathmandu - Manavsewa Ashram is set to organize the Shrimad Bhagwat Gyanshastra Mahayagya in Dhangadhi from Magh 23 to 30 (February 5–12, 2025). This event aims to gather emotional and financial support for constructing a dedicated building for the Far-West Province branch of the Ashram in Dhangadhi, Kailali.

The Ashram launched its Far-West Province branch in Dhangadhi-5, Taranagar, Kailali, on December 16, 2018, by renting a house. Since then, it has rescued and provided care to over 388 helpless, destitute, and abandoned individuals from different districts of the Far-West Province. To ensure the sustainability of these services, the Ashram has set a goal to construct its own building and is organizing the Shrimad Bhagwat Gyanshastra Mahayagya – 2081 as part of this initiative.

Manavsewa Ashram has appealed to all humanitarian-minded individuals in the Far-West Province to participate in this noble event and contribute to the cause.

The Ashram is dedicated to rescuing, treating, caring for, and rehabilitating helpless individuals, including those abandoned on the streets, struggling under open skies, or in public places, as well as orphans and those who are physically and mentally weak. Established on August 29, 2012, with its central office in Makwanpur, Hetauda, the Ashram has been expanding its services across Nepal.

By 2025 (2082 B.S.), the Ashram has set an ambitious goal to make Nepal a nation free of street-dependent, helpless individuals who are incapable of self-care and lack family support. Currently, the Ashram operates 26 service centers across 20 districts in all seven provinces of Nepal and conducts rescue and rehabilitation operations abroad, including in the UK, Qatar, and Australia.

This effort reflects the Ashram’s commitment to ensuring human dignity and sustainability for the most vulnerable members of society.
