How Manavsewa Ashram is Transforming Lumbini into a Street-Dependent Free Zone

MSA's Tour Campaign for a Street-Dependent Free Lumbini Province

Lumbini Province, Nepal: Demonstrating a profound commitment to human dignity, Manavsewa Ashram (MSA) has officially launched the “Lumbini Province Rescue Tour (Yatra).” This campaign aims to identify, rescue, and rehabilitate individuals living on the streets across the province, with the ultimate goal of declaring Lumbini free of street-dependent people.

"In every crisis, doubt or confusion, take the higher path—the path of compassion, courage, understanding and love." Dr. Amit Ray

The intensive, province-wide mission will focus on rescuing the homeless, disabled, orphaned children, and individuals struggling with mental or physical challenges. Rescued individuals will be transitioned into the care of MSA branches, receiving medical treatment, counseling, and a safe, dignified environment that meets their essential needs.

This initiative represents a collaborative effort, with MSA partnering with local governments, police, and social organizations to ensure a sustainable model of care. The mission also seeks to empower local authorities to manage and protect vulnerable populations within their communities.

Aligned with MSA’s nationwide goal of a street-dependent-free Nepal, the Ashram encourages the public to report individuals in need of aid to the nearest police station or rescue team, helping transform despair into hope.
