Cricketer Gulshan Jha Supports Manavsewa Ashram

National cricketer Gulshan Jha has dedicated the cash prize of Rs. 25,000, won from his recent performance in the Nepal Premier League (NPL), to support the care and services of the residents at Manavsewa Ashram. Jha received the ‘Ncell Max 4’ award after hitting six boundaries in the match between Kathmandu Gorkhas and Karnali Yaks, held at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. Instead of celebrating the win personally, he chose to transform his reward into service, a gesture that reflects both compassion and responsibility.

A few days earlier, the Karnali Yaks team had visited the Ashram's Raniban branch and met the residents. The experience moved Gulshan deeply, leading him to dedicate the full prize amount to support better living conditions and care for the residents. His act of giving is a gentle reminder that sports and humanity can walk hand in hand. When youth turn success into service, hope grows. This contribution stands as a meaningful example for the next generation to follow.

In a world that celebrates winning, Gulshan chose to celebrate giving.
